What is Peristeam Hydrotherapy?
Peristeam Hydrotherpay is an all natural herbal steam therapy. It's used to regulate menstrual cycles, rejuvenate and heal cervical tissue post birth, increase lubrication and heal and prevent vaginal infections. Can I steam while pregnant?
Unfortunately no. Steaming softens the cervix which can lead to a miscarriage. However steaming post pregnancy is very beneficial in speeding the healing process of the cervix and uterus so be sure to contact us post birth.
Can I steam if I am currently menstruating (on my period)?
No you can not steam if you're actively bleeding because the steam can cause the bleeding to increase so all bleeding must be ceased before steaming.
Does it hurt?
Not at all! The temperature of the steam can be controlled so always test the warmth of the steam before sitting and be sure to ask us to turn down the heat if you feel its too hot.
What is an A-steam?
A-Steaming is almost the same as the V-steam. The procedure is exactly the same however the targeted area for women is the anus.This is included with every session.
This session is also for men to detox the anus and increase preventative measures against prostate cancer.The targeted area is the anus.
How long are the steaming sessions?
The length of sessions depends on the needs of our clients. Session time is determined based on the present symptoms. Once a consultation has been done to review your intake form , your steaming practitioner will explain how long your session will be and why. In general, sessions can last from 15-45 mins.
What herbs are being used?
There are a variety of herbal blends used based on the clients needs and reason to steam. Although, all cant be listed here you will be fully educated at each session as to what herbs may be needed to achieve your goal. W.E. only use all natural herbs and flowers grown straight from God's earth.
Who can be steamed?
Women 13 and over and have had their first period,who are not pregnant or have any other contraindications (conditions or circumstances) that will prevent steaming at the time a session is requested.
Anyone who has not started a period by the age of 16.
Men 15 and older with no contraindications (conditions or circumstances) that will prevent steaming at the time a session is requested.
How often should you steam?
Since everyone has different needs or desires they are looking for from steaming, the duration of treatments depends on individual needs, however at least once or twice a month is a great time to just detox yourself with this wonderful treatment.
How will I feel after steaming?
Most clients have reported feeling very relaxed or rejuvenated upon completing a steam session. Everyone will have a different experience and W.E. take pride in providing the most safe and comfortable session for full enjoyment.
All services require the full listed payment to secure an appointment. Payments are non-refundable unless you are deemed unsafe to steam by a Wombman's Entuition Facilitator. Payments are transferable to secure a different day and time in the event that steaming becomes contraindicated and need to be rescheduled. W.E. allow a 10 minute grace period from the time of your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will have to reschedule your appointment.
